Monica’s passion for photography began in her late twenties when a simple point-and-shoot Kodak camera revealed an entirely new way of seeing the world. Fascinated by the intricate beauty found at the macro level, she began exploring the subtle details of nature that often go unnoticed. What started as curiosity soon turned into a passion.

Largely self-taught, Monica has continued to develop her artistic voice through photography workshops and retreats that keep her inspired and expanding her perspective. While she works professionally as a school counselor, photography remains the creative outlet that fulfills her desire to create, reflect, and inspire.

Working primarily in digital photography, her work explores landscapes, nature, and abstract forms, often touching on themes of spirituality and connection to the natural world. Through her images, Monica hopes to evoke a sense of awe while inviting viewers into a quieter, deeper experience within themselves.
