Starving Artist Sale: January 12 – March 5
Join the Montrose Center for Arts as it kicks off the 2027 season with a collection of art guaranteed to make you hungry as our artists slash prices by 20% or more across the board for all art submitted to this exhibit. Six & Six Exhibit: March 9 – May 1
Chosen by lottery, 12 MCA member artists have been chosen to display whatever art they would like on their own personal section of wall. The first 6 artists will be showcased in mid-March through Mid-April, then another 6 artists from mid-April to mid-May.
Blooms: May 4 – July 9
The world comes alive in spring and summer with buds, flowers and blooms, especially here in Colorado. Explore an explosion of flora as our artists across the state capture the beauty of blooms.
The Red Show: July 13 – September 10
MCA artists have been asked to submit any type of work they want – no theme, all mediums – so long as the color red is prominent in their work. We are excited by this concept as we will be carrying this theme through the color spectrum in years to come.
What Remains: September 14 – November 12
As time goes on and progress leads to new and better advancements in everything, the old things shaped by the hand of man get left behind, abandoned or forgotten. It this exhibit, MCA artist will capture what remains of those abandoned, ruined or forgotten people, places and things … echoes from a past age.
