Celebrating Colorado – Sept 29 – Nov 13

2026 is Colorado’s 150 anniversary and we love our home! MCA is proud to present art that expresses our love of this great state. MCA artists will showcase the natural beauty, the flora and fauna, cities, towns, people, places and things that make up life in Colorful Colorado.

This juried exhibit welcomes all types of artwork including but not limited to: plein air, paintings, woodworking, woodturned, metal work, ceramics, mixed media and digital art as well as photography.

The Judge: Melanie Hoshiko is the Executive Director of The Creamery Arts Center in Hotchkiss, Colorado. She oversees daily operations, community outreach, and the center’s facility campaign. Born and raised in Colorado, Melanie is a valedictorian graduate of the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, where she earned a Fine Arts Degree in Sculpture and Drawing. Initially establishing herself as a prominent Colorado Abstract Artist, her solo work was recognized as a “Best of Denver” selection, and her pieces have been exhibited at prestigious venues including The Arvada Center and the traveling exhibit “The Invisible Museum” at the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art.
