Colorado Day – August 1:Fun With History and Art

Join Montrose Center for Arts (MCA), the Montrose County Historical Museum, the Museum of the Mountain West, the Ute Indian Museum, and the Montrose Children’s Museum, for a day of fun with art and history, and help us celebrate Colorado Day, August 1. Colorado Day commemorates the date in 1876 when President Ulysses S. Grant signed the proclamation admitting Colorado to the Union as the 38th state. Since we are celebrating 150 years of statehood this year, join the arts and historical community on August 1 to mark the occasion and make the event memorable.
