Instructor
Kristie Donathan is a retired educator and lifelong advocate for the arts, based on Colorado’s Western Slope. With decades of experience in early childhood education and a deep commitment to social-emotional development, Kristie brings a unique perspective to her artistic practice — one grounded in storytelling, connection, and transformation.
“I believe every piece of art has a story waiting to be told — a reflection of where we’ve been, what we’ve learned, and how we grow. Through reclaimed materials and layered media, I aim to honor the beauty of transformation and the quiet power of creativity.”
