Layered Narratives – May 13th

A 4-hour immersive collage workshop designed for artists who want to expand their practice using photographic imagery, personal materials, and mixed media techniques. Participants will explore composition, layering, and storytelling through collage.

Instructor

Kristie Donathan is a retired educator and lifelong advocate for the arts, based on Colorado’s Western Slope. With decades of experience in early childhood education and a deep commitment to social-emotional development, Kristie brings a unique perspective to her artistic practice — one grounded in storytelling, connection, and transformation.

“I believe every piece of art has a story waiting to be told — a reflection of where we’ve been, what we’ve learned, and how we grow. Through reclaimed materials and layered media, I aim to honor the beauty of transformation and the quiet power of creativity.”
