Every month Montrose Center for Arts participates in the city event, “Art Crawl” where all downtown businesses who participate finds a way to support the creative community in Montrose. This month MCA’s Art Crawl event was very busy!
Debbie Watkins with her contemporary quilt, “Misty Forest”, now being shown at MCA, spoke about how she was inspired and what went into the process of creating the quilt.
Margaret Noah speaks to Art Crawl attendees about her grand prize winning quilt, “The Big Sunflower” and her commitment to inspire other artists to follow their dream.
On the MCA patio, Sally Johnson, Montrose County Historical Museum Coordinator, talks about “The History of the Block” and many attendees participated and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon under the trees in our new patio.
