Laurie Jones paints mountain vistas of the San Juan Range. She lives just north of Mt. Sneffels, in Montrose County. She expresses the mountains in watercolor pulling from the heart and mood of weather conditions. Her landscapes are often sprinkled with wet-in-wet techniques.
