I moved with my family from Phoenix to Creede, Colorado when I was twelve. I quickly developed a love for the mountains spending many of my days hiking, backpacking, and camping. Since then I have not strayed far from the San Juans mountains I feel at home in nature, I feel a sense of peace and wonder, and I believe my paintings reflect this. In my landscapes I strive for realism. but more than that, I hope to convey a feeling. I want to bring the viewer in, to create a place you as the viewer want to go, a place where you can feel the mood of the moment.
