CANVAS PREPARATION

The ‘Mary Pat’ way! (that should make you laugh!)

WHEN: Thursday, February 20th 1pm to 3pm

WHERE: Centennial Towers Apartments, 430 S 12th St Montrose

COST: $15 per student if you bring all your own supplies

$30 per student if I supply materials for 2 8″x10″ canvasses

(a portion of the fees goes to Montrose Center for Arts)

We will go through the entire process and you will leave with 2 completed canvasses.

SUPPLY LIST:

2 canvas panels from Walmart/Hobby Lobby/ or?

100% cotton canvas – enough to cover your canvas panels

Matte Medium or MATTE finish ModgePodge (not gloss finish)

Scissors to cut canvas

1 utility brush to paint on the matte medium

Rubber gloves (optional)

Hair dryer
